The vehicle is licensed for 8 passengers, but we recommend booking a maximum of 6 for a 24-hour Three Peaks attempt so there is room for kit and rotating rest. Larger teams are covered with a second vehicle and driver.

Does one driver cover the whole 24 hours?

For a standard national Three Peaks itinerary a single dedicated driver covers the full window with planned rest at each trailhead while the team is on the mountain. Extended or non-standard itineraries are crewed with a second driver.

How far is the driving between the three peaks?

Roughly 460 miles in total: about 280 miles from Fort William to Wasdale Head and about 220 miles from Wasdale to Pen-y-Pass, which is 10–11 hours of driving inside the 24-hour clock.

Can you collect us from an airport or station?

Yes. Glasgow Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Glasgow Central and Fort William are common start points, and any UK pickup can be arranged if you are travelling in the day before.

What happens if the team runs late on a peak?

The driver waits at the trailhead and reworks the remaining legs live. Because the fare is fixed rather than hourly, a slow descent does not change what you pay.
